Job description

Job Title: Account Supervisor

FLSA: Exempt

Reports to: Branch Manager

General Summary: The Account Supervisor's primary responsibility is to oversee and manage customers, their properties, and direct reports to ensure contracted services are being achieved in a high-quality manner and to the standards set forth by the company. This includes directing, supervising, coaching, and holding accountable direct reports to these standards.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Has excellent knowledge of landscape maintenance operations.

2. Able to deliver excellent verbal communications with customers and employees.

3. Effective listening skills to understand what our customers and team members are looking for.

4. The ability to communicate the needs of our customers.

5. The ability to communicate the capabilities of EMTS to our customers.

6. Have a positive attitude when faced with challenges.

7. Work in an organized and proactive manner.

8. Lead, build and manage teams, work collaboratively within a team environment.

9. Experience scheduling, supervising and evaluating staff.

10. Basic computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Education and Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in the landscape maintenance operations and/or customer service. Must be able to travel (drive) up to 30-50% of the time to jobsites and project locations as required. Must possess a valid California driver's license with a driving record acceptable to the Company's insurance carrier.

Work Environment/ Physical Requirements:

1. Periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

2. Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time.

3. Regularly required to stand; walk; bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and inspect work sites.

4. Regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather (heat or cold).

Core Areas of Responsibility:

1. Quality control of operational services

o On-going safety and operational training at all levels of

o Help and hold accountable all EMTS Maintenance team members

o Ensure all crews are staffed with appropriate team members to service our customers according to our contracted duties.

o Ensure time sheets are accurate and turned in on time according to our established payroll process.

o Prioritize work, set work standards and inspect work in progress and upon completion for completeness and accuracy

o Work directly with the crews. Ensure teams have proper and safe equipment. Manage all personnel aspects including hiring, growth and development, and termination.

o Develop and maintain scheduled site walkthroughs with clients to ensure quality and expectations are met

o Create, implement and manage jobs within budgeted hours and costs

2. Customer service

o Customer service experience- able to identify and resolve customer concerns

o Proactive outreach to customers according to client needs

o Coordinate information flow to appropriate personnel and customers

o Execute work orders process

o Execute quality control processes

o Manage multiple landscape maintenance accounts, efficiently coordinate labor, equipment, materials and company resources to achieve company core values

3. Safety

o Promote a safe environment by displaying, practicing, and by following standards and procedures; complying with legal codes and regulations enforcing jobsite safety standards and OSHA regulations.

o Work directly with the crews. Ensure teams have proper and safe equipment.
