Job description

Amazon Freight is a fast-growing startup, externalizing Amazon's transportation capabilities as a service. Amazon Freight provides truckload and intermodal services, on the world class network and capabilities currently used to operate Amazon's own freight movements. As a Senior Account Executive, this role will oversee relationships with Amazon Freight's largest Customers. We are looking for complex problem solvers who are able to build and manage relationships with senior leaders at Fortune 500 customers. In this role, the Senior Account Executive will drive new business growth by unlocking new commercial opportunities and selling creative solutions aligned to customer needs while also maximizing retention of an existing portfolio of business. The position will build and customize solutions with internal Pricing, Sales, and Operations teams that will unlock new business while also delivering a high-quality customer experience.
As the primary relationship manager, this role will be responsible for customer advocacy, collaborating to deliver on customer commitments, drive continuous improvement and create a high-performing profitable business with the customer(s). This role requires a collaborative business builder mindset to work cross- functionally to operate in a startup environment at Amazon. Key job responsibilities
• Own the primary commercial relationship with Customer's executive decisions makers. Responsible for building and managing healthy engagements that enable profitable business growth
• Responsible for defining the account growth plan, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to secure alignment, and execute the plan to deliver on business objectives
• Identify new growth opportunities and define business plans to achieve goals
• Partner with operations leaders to define scalable operating plans for the accounts in your portfolio that help achieve target financial outcomes
• Prioritize and effectively communicate asks of partner teams to unlock new business opportunities and growth across your portfolio
• Manage opportunity pipeline and monitor the health of the account which includes, but is not limited to, Customer KPI review, revenue quality monitoring, identifying additional opportunities, contract and term review to ensure contract adherence
• Be a trusted partner to Shipper / 3PL / Broker / Managed Transportation customer segments, helping customer and internal stakeholders in maximizing targeted business outcomes
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
- Experience developing, leading, negotiating and executing corporate and/or business transactions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
