Job description

Associate Account Executive Needed

The Associate Account Executive plays a crucial role in supporting new and existing clients, primarily from local bank partners within the Nashville, TN territory. This position involves routine administrative tasks related to client service and sales, working closely with an Account Executive. The Associate Account Executive will assist in selling merchant services to business clients and help maintain mutually beneficial relationships with financial institution partners.

Responsibilities: 

  • Complete routine administrative tasks, such as application processing, client communication, and other duties related to selling merchant services.
  • Process customer requests and escalate issues to the Account Executive when necessary.
  • Pull, analyze, and format reports for clients at the branch level.
  • Maintain the scheduling for the Account Executive, including appointments and follow-ups on lead-flow generation.
  • Coordinate new prospect and existing client list reporting for the Account Executive.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with banking partners to support the establishment of mutually beneficial working relationships with financial institution partners.
  • Participate in consultative sales proposals for prospective business clients under the direction of the Account Executive.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety standards.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Experience & Requirements:

  • Nashville, TN - based region
  • 1+ year of data entry experience requires; banking industry experience is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in CRM systems are required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Maintain a professional, cooperative, and enthusiastic image when interacting with banking partners, merchants, and colleagues.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Strong prospecting, networking, and business development skills.
  • Capability to multitask in a fast-paced sales and customer service environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to stay organized while managing responsibilities and workflows.
  • Able to work independently and as a team member.
  • Aptitude for understanding, interpreting, and analyzing financial data.
  • Commitment to continuous learning related to job responsibilities, including company systems and external processing platforms.
  • High School Diploma required.
