Account Manager, Medicaid Operations

About the Role
As an Account Manager, you will support successful program delivery through contract administration, project management, resource coordination, and ongoing communication with the client and Quality Assurance. In this client-facing role, you will partner with internal teams and client stakeholders to coordinate project activities, manage contractual commitments, and support operational execution throughout the life of the contract.
You will play a key role in ensuring projects remain on schedule, resources are aligned, and contractual requirements are met while maintaining effective communication with the client and Quality Assurance. This role is ideal for a collaborative professional who enjoys coordinating projects, managing client relationships, and supporting successful program delivery in a government healthcare environment.
This position is contingent upon the award of a government contract. Recruiting and interviewing activities may occur prior to contract award; however, employment and start dates are subject to contract award, funding, customer approval requirements, and/or satisfaction of any applicable pre-employment conditions.
Responsibilities
• Manage contract administration activities to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and service commitments.
• Coordinate project management activities to support successful program execution.
• Coordinate project schedules and the provision of resources to meet contractual requirements.
• Prepare formal communications and correspondence with the client and Quality Assurance.
• Partner with internal teams and client stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
• Monitor project activities and coordinate resolution of operational issues.
• Maintain documentation related to contracts, project activities, and customer communications.
• Support successful execution of contractual deliverables throughout the life of the contract.
• Serve as key personnel throughout the life of the contract.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Public Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of management experience supporting government or private-sector healthcare payer organizations.
• Previous experience supporting Medicaid and Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) development.
• Experience with contract administration, project management, scheduling, and resource coordination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, relationship management, and problem-solving skills.

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary for this role is $117,000-$140,000
