Account activation is the process of enabling a new user account so that it can be accessed and used. This usually occurs after registration, where the user receives an email or message with instructions or a link to activate their account. Activation helps verify the user's identity, protect against unauthorized access, and ensure the account is ready for use. The process may involve confirming an email address, setting a password, or agreeing to terms of service.

This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys building business rather than simply maintaining it. Responsibilities
  • Develop and grow relationships with licensed cannabis dispensaries throughout New Jersey.

  • Conduct regular field visits with retail partners and prospective accounts.

  • Collaborate with internal teams on sales materials, promotions, retail initiatives, and other tools needed to support account growth.

  • Identify market opportunities and provide feedback on customer needs, competitive activity, and product demand.

  • Maintain accurate account, pipeline, activity, and sales information within applicable CRM and reporting systems.

  • Participate in industry and customer-facing events as needed.

  • Help establish sales processes and best practices as the organization continues to grow.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of successful B2B sales, account executive, business development, or related experience.

  • Cannabis wholesale sales experience within the New Jersey market. Experience in Massachusetts and/or New York is preferred

  • Existing relationships with New Jersey dispensaries

  • Demonstrated ability to develop new business and convert prospects into revenue-generating accounts.

  • Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment where priorities may evolve as the business grows.

  • Self-motivated with a hands-on, proactive approach to sales.

  • Strong relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to independently manage a sales territory, pipeline, and schedule.

  • Experience with CRM systems and standard business productivity software.

  • Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned New Jersey territory.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain any credentials required by the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission.

  • Experience helping launch or grow a cannabis or consumer brand, developing a new sales territory, or working within an emerging or entrepreneurial cannabis organization is a plus.

Location: New Jersey – Field Based
Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent
Compensation: $50,000–$70,000 base salary, plus performance-based commission
Benefits: Paid time off and paid holidays
