What are the common challenges faced by Access Control Specialists when managing security systems across multiple sites?

Access Control Specialists often face the challenge of maintaining consistent security protocols across multiple locations, each with unique access requirements and technical infrastructures. They must ensure seamless integration between hardware, software, and user credentials while staying vigilant against potential security breaches. Coordinating with IT, facilities, and security teams is essential to troubleshoot issues quickly and implement updates or new technologies efficiently.
