Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Driver in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, verify authorized access, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position combines customer service, clear communication, and operational awareness in a dynamic environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical/petrochemical location.
  • Monitor and control access to the facility by verifying credentials, processing authorized visitors, contractors, and deliveries, and maintaining required entry records.
  • Respond to access-control alarms, unauthorized-entry attempts, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, perimeter locations, and restricted areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Document incidents, observations, access-control activity, and shift information accurately, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
