Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Support multiple Fidessa trading systems.
  • Integrate Fidessa systems into the Bank's technology stack.
  • Upgrade product components on a regular basis to keep up with the latest updates.
  • Work with BAs PM and other developers to satisfy business and regulatory requirements.
  • Onboard the systems to DevOps CI CD tools.

This role requires working onsite with the client 3 days per week in NYC, Jersey City or Pennington, NJ

Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 6 years of work experience with 3 or more years of Fidessa server side development experience
  • Experience with Fidessa Product Suite CASE, FBL, TOP OMAR, TMAR, PMAC, PAIRS, NMS, FIX+, APAS, FDA and FIX protocol
  • Experience with TCL, Unix shell scripting, Platforms Linux, Windows 10, Agile SDLC and Front Office Development experience
  • Understanding of equities trading workflows and general equities market knowledge
  • Excellent analytical, design, and system integration skills
  • Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects in parallel
  • Takes ownership, proactive individual with a strong interest in learning the business
  • Enthusiastic about completing tasks and able to work with little supervision
  • Associate Degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of core Java development experience
  • Hands on FDA and Sybase experience
  • FTW development is a strong plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
