Position Overview

Augment Professional Services (APS) is seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians to support high-volume electrical construction activities at a major advanced manufacturing facility.

This is a field-based position supporting installation of low- and medium-voltage electrical systems in a fast-paced industrial construction environment. Qualified electricians should be comfortable reading drawings, installing electrical infrastructure, troubleshooting field issues, and working within stringent safety and quality requirements.

Current project need includes multiple openings.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Install conduit, cable tray, raceway, wiring, feeders, and associated electrical infrastructure.
  • Install electrical panels, equipment, disconnects, devices, and related systems.
  • Perform wire pulls, terminations, grounding, and equipment connections.
  • Read electrical drawings, layouts, specifications, and installation details.
  • Support low- and medium-voltage construction activities.
  • Troubleshoot electrical installation issues.
  • Coordinate work with electrical foremen, superintendents, and adjacent trades.
  • Follow NEC requirements and project-specific standards.
  • Participate in inspections, punch-list resolution, and turnover activities.
  • Maintain compliance with project safety and quality requirements.
 Required Technical Skills
  • Journeyman-level electrical construction experience.
  • Strong knowledge of conduit installation, cable tray, wiring, terminations, panels, and electrical equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
  • Understanding of NEC requirements.
  • Experience with industrial or large commercial electrical construction.
  • Ability to use standard electrical tools, test equipment, and installation equipment.
  • Ability to work safely in an active construction environment.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding field work.
Preferred Experience / Qualifications
  • Active Journeyman Electrician license where required by jurisdiction.
  • Industrial manufacturing, semiconductor, data center, automotive, battery, or cleanroom construction experience.
  • Low- and medium-voltage experience.
  • Self-perform electrical construction experience.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30.
  • Experience supporting commissioning, startup, or facility expansion projects.
