Psychiatrist - Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Ally Psychiatry is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our growing behavioral health team in Myrtle Beach.
This full-time psychiatry opportunity offers the ability to practice in a dynamic adult behavioral health setting with responsibilities across inpatient psychiatry, psychiatric consult services, Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) services. The position also includes academic psychiatry involvement through Graduate Medical Education (GME), resident teaching, and medical student supervision.
As our behavioral health program continues to expand, psychiatrists will also have the opportunity to help shape future outpatient psychiatry services and contribute to long-term program development. We also welcome J1 and H1b visa candidates to apply.Â
Psychiatrist Position Highlights
- Full-time psychiatrist positionÂ
- Monday-Friday scheduleÂ
- One weekend of call per monthÂ
- Adult-only behavioral health facility (22-bed inpatient unit)Â
- No pediatric psychiatry responsibilitiesÂ
- Practice across inpatient psychiatry, psychiatric consults, PHP, and IOP settingsÂ
- Opportunity to perform and participate in ECT servicesÂ
- Opportunity to participate in future outpatient psychiatry program growthÂ
- Collaborate with and supervise PMHNPs and mid-level providersÂ
- Academic psychiatry opportunity with resident and medical student teaching (possible psych residency coming)
- Supportive multidisciplinary behavioral health teamÂ

Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment planningÂ
- Deliver care in inpatient psychiatry, consult liaison psychiatry, PHP, and IOP settingsÂ
- Perform psychiatric consults as neededÂ
- Participate in and support ECT treatment servicesÂ
- Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers and mid-level cliniciansÂ
- Participate in Graduate Medical Education (GME) activitiesÂ
- Teach and mentor psychiatry residents and medical studentsÂ
- Collaborate with therapists, social workers, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary care teamsÂ
- Maintain timely and compliant clinical documentationÂ

Qualifications
