Job description

Renown Health and University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med) are recruiting a Board Eligible/Board Certified ENT, Head and Neck Oncology Surgeon to join our growing ENT division within the Department of Surgery

The ENT surgeon will provide medical and surgical care for patients in the community. Renown Regional houses the William N. Pennington Cancer Institute to provide full-service patient care and collaboration, including Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Infusion Center and Surgery Oncology. The ENT will have the opportunity to attend weekly tumor boards and can expect to be involved in furthering public health education, teaching, and research.

Renown Regional houses a robust robotics program offering 8 Da Vinci Robots (both Xi and 5 systems) and strong specialty support from Plastics, Ophthalmology, Anesthesia, dietitians, as well as, speech and language therapists, administrative staff and other multispecialty physicians in our medical group.

The ideal candidate will be a BC ENT Surgeon with a minimum of 5 years’ clinical experience; Surgeon must have completed 5 years accredited Otolaryngology (ENT) Residency program and 2 year Head and Neck Oncology Fellowship. The physician must possess a strong work ethic with a high focus on quality.  Collegiality is mandatory and expected in the department. Physician will have efficient ancillary support staff already in place - surgery schedulers, MAs, RN Navigator, APPs, PARS, practice site leaders and practice manager.
