Job description

Job Summary


Absolute Power Solutions is seeking a hands-on, organized office coordinator to oversee the day-to-day administrative functions of our growing electrical business. This role is ideal for someone who can thrive in a small-business environment, and is comfortable managing human resource tasks, 

 permit processing , and general office administration. As we grow, this role will evolve — flexibility and a "whatever it takes" attitude are essential. We are committed to supporting your growth through challenging opportunities and a collaborative work environment.  


Key Responsibilities


  • Manage administrative systems, filing, and record keeping?
  • Prepare, submit, and track electrical permit applications with local jurisdictions.
  • Maintain up-to-date licensing, certifications, and insurance documentation
  • Support hiring processes, including job postings, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new employees
  • Maintain employee records, and basic HR compliance documentation
  • Assist with benefits administration 
  • Help foster a positive company culture and address basic employee relations matters
  •  Customer/client interaction: answer  incoming calls, direct inquiries, and conduct post job surveys.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols.
  • Support ownership/management team with special projects as needed


Qualifications


  • 3+ years of experience in office administration, operations, or a similar role (experience in construction/contracting industry a plus)
  • Familiarity with permit processes 
  • Basic HR knowledge (use of hiring platforms/recruitment tools)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace??
  • Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
