Job Title: Data Entry Specialist

Location: Avondale, AZ (relocating from Glendale, AZ in the July/August timeframe)

Compensation: $59,000 - $75,000 / Annually

Industry: Underground Construction / Utility Construction

Job Description:

The Data Entry Specialist will support data management, reporting, auditing, and process improvement initiatives across the organization. This role will analyze information, maintain accurate records, assist with internal reviews, and help identify opportunities to improve business processes. The ideal candidate will have experience working with data, reporting tools, and advanced Excel functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform data reviews, audits, and reporting activities to support operational accuracy
  • Analyze processes and identify opportunities for improved efficiency and compliance
  • Create and maintain digital forms and documentation as needed
  • Review internal procedures and provide recommendations for process improvements
  • Conduct scheduled audits and support internal compliance reviews
  • Track findings, document outcomes, and prepare reports for leadership review
  • Maintain accurate records related to quality, compliance, and operational activities
  • Assist with reporting requests and data-related projects across departments
  • Support system updates and documentation using internal platforms

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in data analytics, process analytics, reporting, or similar areas
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, including formulas, pivot tables, and macros
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify trends and inconsistencies
  • Experience with data extraction, reporting, and analysis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with SharePoint and Power Apps preferred
  • Experience with Crystal Reports preferred but not required
