ABM Shuttle Bus Operator Job Description - On Call

This On-Call role is a Part-Time job perfect for persons looking to supplement their income without committing to a weekly work schedule. In this role you will be required to work at minimum one 4-hour, 8-hour or 10-hour shift per month. Typical scheduling will involve you selecting a shift from the posted weekly openings to supplement our route operations at the Tampa International Airport. You may select up to three (3) schedules to work in any given week, but not less than one (1) per month.

Attendance at all regular schedule Safety Meetings and other training courses throughout the year is REQUIRED.

Required:

Must be 21 years of age or older

Must possess a valid Commercial Driver License with a Passenger Endorsement, with no moving violations or suspensions.

Previous experience transporting passengers in a 30 ft or longer vehicle.

High school diploma or GED required.

Must possess open availability to work schedules as assigned.

Basic Job Duties

Transports employees of the airport to and from the established employee parking lot to the main airport terminal.

Follows designated bus route through secured roadways in and around the airport campus.

Immediately reports any incidents or accidents to the Operations Manager or Shift Lead.

Perform pre-inspection and post-inspection activities to ensure proper operating conditions, adherence to prescribed Department of Transportation standards, and compliance with proper safety standards

Ensures access to the shuttle bus by passengers adheres to airport security policy.

Follow required roadway and gate access procedures as outlined in the airport's security protocols.
