Job Description

MediaTek is a global fabless semiconductor industry leader, providing solutions from the edge to the cloud and powering over 2 billion connected devices every year. Established in 1997, our leading-edge technologies keep the world connected and enhance everyday life. At the forefront of innovation, MediaTek drives advancements in transformative technologies such as AI, 5G/6G, Wi-Fi 8, and Embedded IoT. Our high-performance, power-efficient solutions form the foundation for a smarter, more connected world - enabling everything from smartphones, smart homes, and AI PCs to high-performance computing, automotive, embedded IoT systems, and AI data centers. As a trusted partner to the world's leading brands, we are committed to ensuring access to world-class technology for everyone. Our dedication to accelerating AI underscores our mission to enrich the future of humanity. About the RoleMediaTek is looking for a Sr. Manager of AI & Automotive B2B Marketing to own the go-to-market narrative for how AI runs on MediaTek silicon - from the data center to the PC to the vehicle. This is an AI-first role: roughly half your time goes to MediaTek's AI story, spanning AI hardware architecture like NPUs, the software stack that runs on it, the partner and startup ecosystem, and the trends reshaping where and how inference happens. The other half applies that same fluency to automotive, where AI has become the defining competitive story - the AI cockpit, in-vehicle assistants, driver and cabin monitoring, and ADAS. These are not two separate jobs; the synergy is the point, because the silicon, toolchains, and models built for the cloud and the PC are the same ones landing in the car. The role is global, working in close and ongoing alignment with MediaTek's Taiwan headquarters and our Europe and Asia teams, and involves approximately 15% international travel. The ideal candidate is both a strategic architect and a hands-on executor - equally comfortable presenting to executives, building a solution brief with an engineering team, and holding their own in a technical discussion about NPU and GPU architecture. What You'll DoAI Narrative & Compute Positioning: Own MediaTek's generative AI and edge AI marketing narrative across compute platforms - data center AI, AI PC, on-device and edge inference, and AI in the vehicle. Build the messaging frameworks, positioning, and proof points that explain why MediaTek silicon is the right place to run modern AI workloads: NPU and accelerator architecture, GPU compute for AI, memory bandwidth, and performance per watt, and how those choices translate into real inference throughput, latency, and cost. Show that continuity across form factors as a differentiator against single-market competitors. AI Software Stack Fluency: Keep the technical story credible - foundation models, multimodal and agentic workloads, training versus inference economics, frameworks and runtimes, quantization and model compression - connecting silicon capability to the workloads customers actually run. AI Ecosystem & Market Intelligence: Build MediaTek's standing with the companies that shape AI compute decisions - model providers, ISVs, framework and tooling companies, cloud and platform partners, and the AI startups defining what runs where - through co-marketing, joint content, and partner activations. Track silicon and model launches, competitive NPU and GPU positioning, and analyst and media narratives, and turn them into a point of view leadership can act on. Automotive Marketing (Secondary Focus): Lead B2B marketing for MediaTek's automotive portfolio - AI cockpit and in-vehicle computing, automotive connectivity (5G, Wi-Fi, V2X, NTN/satellite, GNSS), and ADAS - targeting global OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, system integrators, and mobility partners. Frame automotive as a flagship edge AI opportunity rather than a standalone vertical. Campaigns & Content: Drive end-to-end campaign planning and execution across digital, content, executive thought leadership, ABM, email, and social in US and European markets - including the white papers, solution briefs, benchmarks, videos, keynote content, and web copy behind them. Events & Executive Marketing: Own marketing strategy and execution for flagship AI, computing, and automotive events - sponsorships, speaking slots, executive roundtables, demos, and on-site activations that put MediaTek's AI story in front of the right rooms. Demand Generation & Performance: Work with the digital team to oversee targeted digital programs across LinkedIn, programmatic, SEM, technical media, and content syndication to reach AI technical leaders, system and silicon architects, product decision-makers, and C-suite executives. Define, track, and report KPIs, and use the data to optimize spend and demonstrate marketing's contribution to pipeline. Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with US, EU, and Taiwan HQ product marketing, business units, engineering, sales, and external agencies to keep messaging consistent across regions and customer touchpoints.

Main Requirements and Qualifications
  • 8-12 years of B2B technology marketing experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years focused on AI/ML, generative AI, automotive or platform marketing, cloud infrastructure, or semiconductor marketing.
  • Demonstrated fluency in AI compute - NPU and accelerator architecture, GPU compute for AI, and the trade-offs between training and inference, cloud and edge, throughput and power - with enough software stack knowledge (models, frameworks, runtimes, quantization, deployment) to connect silicon capability to real workloads.
  • Proven experience building narratives and campaigns for technical audiences, as well as for senior business and executive buyers.
  • Familiarity with the AI startup and partner ecosystem, and a track record of building or activating partner and co-marketing relationships.
  • Experience developing and executing integrated B2B campaigns spanning digital, content, events, and ABM, with measurable pipeline and brand impact.
  • Automotive, embedded, or mobility marketing exposure is strongly preferred; equally, a strong AI marketer with the curiosity and technical appetite to ramp quickly on automotive will be seriously considered.
  • Experience working across US and European markets, with the ability to navigate cross-cultural and cross-regional dynamics, including direct collaboration with Asia-based headquarters teams.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 15% internationally, including periodic visits to MediaTek's Taiwan headquarters.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Salary range: $171,200-$244,000 annually
  • Employee may be eligible for performance bonus, short- and long-term incentive programs. Actual total compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications. In addition, MediaTek provides a variety of benefits including comprehensive health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays, Sick Leave, Vacation time, Parental leave, 401K and more.
  • MediaTek is an Equal Opportunity Employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity to all, regardless of age, ancestry, color, disability (mental and physical), exercising the right to family care and medical leave, gender, gender expression, gender identity, genetic information, marital status, medical condition, military or veteran status, national origin, political affiliation, race, religious creed, sex (includes pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding and related medical conditions), and sexual orientation.
