Job description

Job Title

Assists in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating activities of designated units/services. Provides oversight in assigned department and manages day to day clinical operations. Manages staff and assists in development and administration of departmental hospital policies, rules and regulations. Coaches and facilitates patient work teams to perform multifunctional patient care duties. Develops positive working relationships with physicians and supporting clinical departments.

Education and Training

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current license to practice registered nursing in the State of Ohio or current multi state RN licensure recognized by the State of Ohio required. BSN preferred. BLS and ALS required. Certification of specialty area preferred.

Experience

With BSN: Two (2) years related professional nursing experience which demonstrates clinical expertise and progressive leadership abilities. Management experience preferred. Without BSN: Three (3) to five (5) years of related professional nursing experience which demonstrates clinical expertise and leadership abilities. Management experience preferred.
