Description
Spatial Front, Inc. (SFI), a two-time USA Today Top Workplaces awardee and Washington Top Workplaces honoree, is seeking a highly technical Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the administration, sustainment, security, and continuous improvement of enterprise infrastructure supporting PeopleSoft HCM within a secure, on-premises federal environment.
This role spans a broad range of technical domains, including cybersecurity, database administration (DBA), Ab Initio, Oracle GoldenGate, ETL and data movement, ESB and middleware, identity and access management, business intelligence (BI), and enterprise tools administration. The successful candidate will bring a strong combination of system administration and troubleshooting expertise, along with experience in scripting, automation, and secure network operations.
Location: This is a hybrid position
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer, monitor, and sustain infrastructure supporting PeopleSoft HCM and related systems in a secure, on-premises environment.
  • Install, configure, patch, maintain, and troubleshoot Oracle-based platforms, servers, middleware, tools, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Support one or more disciplines such as cyber, DBA, Ab Initio, GoldenGate, ETL and data integration, ESB and middleware, identity and access, BI and reporting, or enterprise tools administration.
  • Develop and maintain scripts, automations, runbooks, and SOPs to improve reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor system health, job execution, interfaces, performance, logs, and capacity; investigate incidents and coordinate resolution.
  • Support access management, audit readiness, change control, environment readiness, and compliance with security and operational requirements.
  • Maintain backups, data movement, batch scheduling, system interfaces, and environment support across development, test, and production.
  • Participate in hardening, vulnerability remediation, contingency planning, and sustainment within highly secured or similarly controlled environments.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • 3+ years of infrastructure, systems administration, or platform support experience; PeopleSoft HCM or similar ERP support preferred.
  • Hands-on experience administering on-premises Oracle and Solaris/UNIX environments, including monitoring, patching, troubleshooting, and operational support.
  • Ability to write scripts and automations; experience with Ab Initio, GoldenGate, ETL, middleware, identity, BI, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one; experience in secured federal or DoD environments preferred.

Desired Skills
  • Familiarity with PeopleSoft HCM architecture, interfaces, batch processing, and supporting Oracle ecosystem components.
  • Experience supporting DoD or other federal programs in secured, on-premises environments.
  • Knowledge of runbooks, SOPs, change management, backup and recovery, incident management, and problem management.
  • Ability to collaborate across application, data, integration, security, and operations teams.
