What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP), and why are they important?

To thrive as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP), you need advanced clinical knowledge in adult and geriatric care, a master's or doctoral nursing degree, and national certification as an AGACNP. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs), advanced diagnostic tools, and critical care protocols is essential.
