MISUMI Americas is seeking a Marketing Content Writer to elevate our brand presence across a rapidly evolving global ecosystem. We need a creative specialist who pairs an audience-first mindset with a mastery of high-impact messaging. Whether you are distilling complex manufacturing workflows into punchy email sequences or crafting witty, scroll-stopping creative ads, you bring a high degree of editorial rigor to every project. You possess an uncompromising eye for detail—viewing clarity and succinctness as the essential foundation of effective brand communication.

In this role, you will be a key contributor to the MISUMI Americas persona, ensuring a cohesive and professional brand experience across all digital touchpoints. You'll collaborate with a high-performance marketing squad to produce full-funnel content that fuels demand generation and supports our sales teams. By helping to amplify the unique perspectives of our experts and customers, you will translate MISUMI Americas technical value proposition into a compelling narrative that captures market attention and drives engagement.

You will report to the Director of Content.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Write content for print, web, email, advertising, presentations, and other marketing materials
  • Research, interview, and write compelling thought leadership articles for media requests and external publications, such as Forbes and Fast Company
  • Help write and develop customer case studies
  • Review and edit technical content authored by a team of engineering copywriters and contributors
  • Help develop copy for video, social, working closely with the social media and community manager
  • Produce well-written content that is SEO-friendly and optimized for conversion
  • Create compelling ad copy, landing pages, and promotional comms for marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with designers and creative teams
  • Work with analysts to continuously improve content performance
  • Brainstorm and manage projects and juggle multiple deliverables
  • Ensure key messages and brand voice are reflected in all external communications
  • Draft responses for awards and speaking engagements
Desired Traits
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or a related field
  • 2+ years experience writing for a technical audience
  • Must have B2B experience
  • Passion for writing with an excellent portfolio of work
  • Excellent editorial, proofreading, and writing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Highly skilled at writing copy for a technical audience is required (experience with B2B marketing to mechanical engineers and supply chain leaders)
  • Quickly grasp complex ideas and concepts
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Familiarity with persona development and marketing tactics.
  • Experience writing direct response copy with strong calls to action (CTAs)
  • Desire to experiment with ideas, iterate quickly and collaborate with a fast-paced marketing team
  • Familiarity with AI content generation required, but you must also be able to write strong copy without using AI

Salary Range: $75,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience
