Job description

Vicinia Property Management is searching for a Part Time Multi-Site Groundskeeper.

The Groundskeeper is responsible for the overall upkeep of the community landscape and the exterior image. Works as a team participant along with other maintenance staff and community manager to ensure the community meets the quality maintenance standards.

  1. Assists in the upkeep and physical condition of the property.
  2. Assist the Maintenance Manager and/or Community Manager with annual interior and exterior inspections.
  3. Assists the Maintenance Manager and/or Community Manager on maintenance projects as necessary.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record along with auto insurance required.
  • Basic aptitude and understanding of basic mechanical and electrical systems and functions.
  • Experience or knowledge of painting is preferred.
  • The ability to work independently and pay close attention to detail is required.
  • Flexible work schedule is required.

Machines, Tools and Equipment, Software:

All common hand and painting tools including rollers, brushes, screwdrivers, hammers, pliers, etc. Hand tools normally used in construction, maintenance or landscaping, such as lawnmower, hedge trimmer, string trimmer, etc. Other power tools including, but not limited to, power floor cleaner, carpet shampoo machine, paint sprayer, power drain cleaner, auger, chain saw, key machine and all chemicals associated with maintenance and landscaping essential job functions.
