Job description

Department: Production

Classification: Non-exempt

Reports to: Stitch Team Lead

Supervises: No

Work Location: Warehouse in Raleigh, NC

Job Summary: As a Stitcher, you use a machine and your skills to sew patches.

Main Responsibilities:

  • The job entails stitching patches, often complex and of varying materials, to a variety of garments, primarily hats.
  • Understanding of the specific tools required for different mediums is a must.
  • Routine maintenance of an industrial post-bed sewing machine
  • Perform quality inspections and keep a clean and organized work area.
  • Participate in department and company meetings when required, during normal business hours between 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Physical demands: Ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. The ability to see details at close range. Lift 15 pounds. Sit or stand for long periods.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience sewing, preferably commercial.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Work effectively in a team environment.

Schedule: The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am until 5:30 pm.
