Job description

We are currently hiring a Speech Therapist Assistant (SLPA) to join our dedicated team. The SLPA will support licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in providing quality therapy services to Medicare patients, helping improve their communication and swallowing abilities in compliance with federal and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of treatment plans developed by the Speech-Language Pathologist

  • Deliver speech therapy interventions under the supervision of the SLP

  • Monitor and document patient progress accurately and timely

  • Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members

  • Maintain compliance with Medicare requirements and company policies

Qualifications:

  • Valid license/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in the state of Florida.

  • Previous experience working with Medicare patients is preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities

  • Experience with Kinnser or similar EMR is a plus
