About the Role

As an Able Bodied Seafarer (AB), you'll be an essential part of our mission to provide safe and reliable maritime services. You'll work alongside a dedicated team that values professionalism, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

  • Properly make and break barge tows, raft tows, etc.
  • Perform necessary maintenance and vessel checks.
  • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of all common areas utilized by crew(s).
  • Stand lookout watches, when required.
  • Assist Mate and/or Captain as required.

What We're Looking For

  • AB Limited or Unlimited License.
  • Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
  • Maintain Able Bodied Seafarer (Seaman) endorsement, AB limited or unlimited with a valid STCW endorsement is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of operational experience with working on deck of a tugboat preferred.
  • Must join the IBU (Inland Boatman's Union) within 30 days of hire.

What We Offer

  • Pay for this position is $480 per day. The estimated annual compensation is $87,600, based on an even-time schedule of 182.5 working days per year.
