Overview

Position: Dental Hygienist

Location: Jackson, MS

Compensation: $45-55/hour plus production incentives

Sign-on Bonus: $5,000

Your Responsibilities as a Dental Hygienist
  • Provide high-quality, compassionate care to all patients
  • Conduct scaling and prophylaxis, take x-rays, apply sealants and fluoride, and perform related tasks under the supervision of a general dentist
  • Deliver same-day care whenever feasible to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Educate patients and their families about oral hygiene practices
  • Evaluate dental conditions and needs, reviewing patients' medical histories
  • Guide patients and their families through the entire treatment process
  • Assist with dental and periodontal charting as required
  • Take and organize x-rays in patient records as necessary
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements and organizational standards
Qualifications
  • Valid state Dental Hygienist license
  • CPR/BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, including a practical skills assessment (mandatory at hire)
