Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Technologist Lead of the Radiology-Diagnostic department, you will help the clinical staff, Radiologists, and patients ensure the smooth and safe daily operation of the department so they can maintain high standards of patient care and departmental efficiency.

Every day you will oversee the daily work assignments of clinical staff and ensure the quality of all departmental imaging and data. You will be expected to utilize good radiation safety practices, perform technical and clerical functions including operating teleradiology and PACS systems, and collaborate with Radiologists and supervisors on protocols and exam prioritization.

To be successful in this role, you must perform routine assignments independently, consistently prioritize tasks, and maintain professional licensure. You must also demonstrate technical competency with teleradiology and PACS systems, and effectively communicate with patients across various age groups.

This position is based at one of our satellite freestanding emergency departments. These locations offer an alternative to the complexity of a large hospital and is the ideal position for technologists who value autonomy and a close-knit culture

Required

  • Graduate from an approved Radiological Technology Program.
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience as a Radiologic Technologist and demonstrated excellence in all aspects of Diagnostic Radiology. 
  • Medical Radiographer: AZ (MRAD:AZ)
  • American Heart Association-issued Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CT CPRBLS)
  • Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT (RTR)
  • Registered Technologist Computed Tomography (RTCT)
