As a QMAP or Caregiver, your primary responsibility is to provide personal care and to administer medications (if QMAP), as prescribed and within the scope outlined in the relevant regulations, to the residents in our community. If you have not received your QMAP, please only perform caregiving duties. Once you have received your QMAP and have gone through QMAP training and had a satisfactory shadowing review by a QMAP Trainer/Coordinator, you will perform the QMAP duties as outlined in this job description. Delegated responsibility to perform duties as stated in The Community Policies and Procedures and in compliance with all relevant rules and regulations.
โข Administers medications to residents based on the seven Rights; Person, Right Drug, Right Dose, Right Route, Right Time, Right Documentation, Right of the Client to Refuse
โข Reorders medication in a timely manner
โข Follows Community Policies and Procedures on medication administration
โข Keeps medication cart clean and well stocked, reporting any out-of-stock medicine and refused medicine to the appropriate Community resource
โข Charts all medication administrations in a timely and accurate manner
โข Adheres to the QMAP Scope and Standards for practice in Colorado Qualifications and Experience
โข Minimum High School Diploma or GED preferred
โข Eager to Learn and to be a Part of a Strong Team
โข Pass Background Check and Drug Tests
โข Pass Routine TB Test
โข Able to use general office equipment and computer systems required
โข Must demonstrate dependable, regular attendance
โข Must be able to communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team

โข Receives and maintains CPR/First Aid certification

Qualifications:

Schedule:
Must be able to work 6a-2p and/or 2p-10p on Saturday and Sunday. Additional days and hours available.
