Job description

The Department of Economics seeks to appoint a tenure-trackprofessor in Economics. The appointment is expected to begin on July 1, 2027. The tenure-track professor will be responsible forteaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

In Harvard's Faculty of Arts and Sciences, tenure-track positionsare untenured.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Doctorate or terminal degree in Economics or related disciplinerequired by the time the appointment begins.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated strong commitment to teaching and advising isdesired.
