Vistex Technical Instructional Designer is responsible for creating engaging and effective training courses for the Vistex suite of products. This team member will work collaboratively with key stakeholders and Training team to develop strategic learning plans for standard and custom training courses by leveraging instructional design methodology.  The ideal candidate is someone who believes training should motivate and support participants in their job responsibilities.  As part of our rapidly growing team, the Instructional Designer is expected to be self-motivated and rapidly adapts to new platforms to become productive contributor.

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with product specialists, customers, and trainers to develop accurate, effective, and timely curriculums that meet internal and external needs.
  • Develop training materials (presenter decks, instructor guides, exercises, job aids, videos, eLearning simulations with voice scripts, and other supporting materials) for instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced courses utilizing department templates and guidelines.
  • Creates materials that include the business and end user processes for Vistex software as well as the technical steps to implement and utilize the software at the customer’s site.
  • Produce design plans targeted to different audiences based on performance needs which integrate appropriate media and variety of adult learning techniques.
  • Create delta classes and update training material as new releases of software are rolled out using rapid development strategies.
  • Apply sound project management and instructional design principles that motivate participants and leads project to conclusion.
  • Analyze existing training to identify end user needs and develop strategies to improve courses and documentation.
  • Rapidly adapts to new platforms and independently learns to master software in Vistex or Customer systems.
  • Facilitate course pilot and train-the-trainer sessions for new and updated courses.
  • Develop course materials and conduct training for customer custom projects.
  • Complete related duties as assigned by Training Manager.

The compensation for this position is $70k to $80k annually.  Base pay will vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s location, job-related knowledge, skills and work experience.
