Opéra National De Paris

Opéra national de Paris is a Public Industrial and Commercial Establishment under the Ministry of Culture. It includes the Palais Garnier, the Opéra Bastille, the Dance School of the Paris Opera located in Nanterre, and the Berthier Workshops. It employs around 1500 permanent employees under private law.

Charged with public service missions, the Opéra national de Paris must make accessible to the greatest number the works of the lyrical and choreographic heritage, promote the creation and representation of contemporary works, both in Paris and abroad, contribute to the training and improvement of artists and participate in the development of lyrical and choreographic art as well as the development of crafts in France.

The Position

Your Work Environment:

Under the responsibility of the Director of Development, you will contribute to the coordination and follow-up of the implementation of the strategic orientations defined by the General Direction.

Your Missions:

  • Ensure the preparation and organization of the instances dedicated to the issues of equality, diversity, and inclusion,
  • Ensure the smooth running of these instances, write the minutes and follow up on the actions, proposals, and decisions that result.
  • Carry out a watch on the subjects related to equality, diversity, and inclusion and contribute to the identification of new lines of reflection and action.
  • Be a force of proposal in order to feed the work of the working groups and committees, and participate in the enrichment of the approaches carried out on these themes.
Profile Sought

Education and/or Experience:

  • Master 2 level education or equivalent degree, ideally in political science, public affairs, cultural organizations management.
  • First experience in the live performance or culture sector would be appreciated.

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of CSR issues and their regulatory framework,
  • Excellent writing skills (notes, minutes, speeches, summaries),
  • Analytical, monitoring, and synthesis skills,
  • Interest in the cultural sector and live performance.

Relational Skills:

  • Autonomy and sense of organization,
  • Social skills and diplomacy,
  • Ability to coordinate various interlocutors,
  • Discretion and respect for confidentiality,
