Job description

American Welding & Gas, Inc. - Has an immediate opportunity for a Class A CDL Delivery Driver at our Wausau, WI. Location.
***** Class A CDL with Hazmat,Tanker & Airbrakes Endorsements Required *****
Duties:
  • Use company vehicle to deliver products and equipment to customers in a safe and courteous manner.
  • Pick up returns at customer place of business.
  • Read, understand, and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
  • Comply with all DOT + OSHA Regulations.
  • Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently.
  • Ensures appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets.
  • Maintains cleanliness of vehicle.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Class A CDL Required with Hazmat,Tanker & Airbrakes Endorsement
  • Clean commercial driving record 3+ years
  • Able to read and write English.
  • Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.)
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, and company administered road test.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers.
  • Drug Free work environment
