Job description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Perform assigned duties as a dealer on gaming tables in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Deal Blackjack and all novelty games in accordance with company policies and procedures. (May not be required to work all games depending upon proficiency of dealing.)
  • Work well with customers and fellow employees.
  • Be friendly with customers, but not overly conversational to the point of affecting job duties.
  • Work with large sums of money.
  • Maintain a good work record.
  • Adhere to established company dress codes.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Attend and pass Table Games Dealer training class.
  • Upon completion of training, must pass an audition of table skills and then transfer those skills to the actual casino setting.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES
  • Good basic math skills.
  • Ability to deal games competently.
  • Ability to take direction from supervisors.
UNIVERSAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
  • Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Mobility throughout the facility.
  • Ability to stand and reach for long periods of time.
  • Vision correctable to 20/20.
  • Hearing acuity of 90%.
  • Good manual dexterity.
