About the Opportunity
Flagstaff Bone & Joint is seeking a Part-Time Hand Therapist to join our collaborative orthopaedic and therapy team. This position is ideal for an experienced clinician who enjoys autonomy, a steady outpatient caseload, and the opportunity to work closely with board-certified orthopaedic hand surgeons. If the clinician does not currently hold a CHT certificate, the goal is that they will ultimately earn this.
Our integrated therapy department offers a strong referral base, advanced equipment, and a supportive, collegial environment where excellence and patient outcomes are our top priorities.
Location: Flagstaff, AZ
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, depending on experience and certification
Schedule: 16 hours per week (there is potential for increase of hours with the growth of practice)
Monday: 7 - 11 a.m.
Wednesday: 7 - 11 a.m.
Friday: 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Saturday: Potential option in place of Friday
What You'll Do

  • Evaluate and treat patients with hand and wrist injuries
  • Develop individualized treatment plans to restore function and reduce pain
  • Fabricate custom splints and provide post-operative rehabilitation
  • Collaborate with orthopaedic surgeons and therapy colleagues for coordinated care
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Requirements
  • Active or eligible Arizona Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy license
  • Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential preferred, or candidates actively working toward CHT certification
  • Minimum 2 years of hand therapy experience required
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association)
  • Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and patient-education skills
