About the role:

The Filling Technician is responsible for safely operating filling machinery, monitoring equipment performance, and conducting routine maintenance. At the close of each shift, the technician completes the necessary administrative work and weight checks on packaged products. 

This position requires a sharp eye, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to stay focused in a high-output environment. 

Our ideal candidate is efficient and quick, meets daily quotas, and is able to operate the machinery for several hours at a time. 

Responsibilities
  • Perform product inspection for defects, leaks, and particulates.
  • Observe machine operations to ensure the quality and conformity of filled products to company standards.
  • Adjust machine components and machine tension and pressure according to warehouse standards.
  • Regulate machine flow, speed, and temperature.
  • Stop or reset the machine when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions to the Filling Specialist.
  • Occasionally, take over the blending of oil and terpenes when needed
  • Check the back stock of machine replacement parts, notifying the Fill Specialist to adjust inventory anytime units are pulled for operations
  • Inspection of machine operations, being proactive in troubleshooting to reduce waste
  • Fix any physical or cosmetic issues that don't contaminate the product.
Candidate Qualifications Skills
  • Knowledge of filling and Q/C Q/A operations and regulatory guidelines.
  • Basic math
  • Ability to work within established warehouse procedures and practices
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
Experience
  • 2+  years experience in a quality or manufacturing department of a pharmaceutical or Medical  (Preferred)
  • Marijuana facility, Medical Device, or Allied Health Science. (Preferred)
  • Experience in product Q/C and Q/A
  • Experience within a regulated environment
Educational Background / Certificates
  • Minimum of High School Diploma/GED with work experience
Additional Qualifications
  • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age, pursuant to A.R.S. 36-2801.10
  • Must consent to a criminal background check performed by the Company and/or the Arizona Department of Health Services, pursuant to A.R.S. 36-2804.01
  • Employment offers are contingent upon the successful completion of the criminal background check conducted by the Arizona Department of Health Services, pursuant to A.R.S. 36-2804.01 and A.R.S. 36-2801.10
  • Valid Arizona State Issued ID
