FOOD SERVICE WORKER


SUMMARY: The Leaguers, Incorporated is seeking both Part-time and Full-time Food Service Workers for its Head Start and Early Head Start Centers.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: 


The Food Service Worker is responsible for serving meals (Breakfast, Lunch, and Snacks) daily using pre-established standards and schedules.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure meals are ready on time by conducting advance food preparation;
  • Ensure that children with special diets receive appropriate meals;
  • Review and confirm invoices against delivered items. Take corrective actions when necessary;
  • Post menus and maintain document accessibility;
  • Verify current licensing and inspection reports are posted;
  • Participate in designated trainings when required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MUST hold a NJ Food Handlers License;
  • High School Diploma or equivalent;
  • One (1) year of food service experience preferred.

$18.65 hourly
