Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Unload and break down deliveries. Rotate stocks for freshness.
- Be responsible for cutting, and trimming products into saleable sizes and for better presentation.
- Handle spoiled products properly. Keep accurate logs in accordance with the policies of the company, state food safety, and health.
- Follow the company policy to clean the walk-in cooler, clean and sanitize tools, equipment, and counters in a safe manner, and maintain work areas clean.
- Complete production process, quality control, and other techniques maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Keep aisles and common walking areas clean / cleared of boxes and debris to prevent injury.
- Perform other duties as for business needs.
Qualifications:
- No experience is required.
- Be flexible with assigned working schedules.
- Have a Food Handlers Card or willing to obtain one.
- Must be self-motivated, creative, and passionate about food.
- Having strong time management, interpersonal skills, and teamwork.
- Bilingual in Chinese or Spanish is preferred.
- Ability to adapt to a cross-cultural environment.
- Ability to work weekends and early morning shifts.
Work Environment:
- Stand and walk for an extended period of time.
- Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.
- Bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and below shoulders and squat.
- Lifting items weighing 25 lbs or more with appropriate equipment.
- Able to work occasionally with an environment temperature ranging from 32ºF to 50°F.
