Employees who work or reside on Catalina Island shall receive Branch Assignment Premium (BAP) compensation. The BAP is due to Catalina Island being listed as a rural California community and as an island, it is remote and detached from mainland California

Employees will receive an additional $4.2247 to their hourly payrate for the BAP. Under general supervision, prepare, package and serve hot and cold menu items at an assigned school site or the central kitchen; maintain nutrition service facilities and equipment in a clean and sanitary condition; train and provide work direction and guidance to assigned staff; perform related duties as assigned.
