Job Summary

seeking an experienced Medical Scribe / Patient Services Representative to support physicians by accurately documenting patient encounters in real time. The ideal candidate will have strong medical terminology knowledge, exceptional typing speed, and experience using electronic medical records (EMR), preferably Epic/CS-Link.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accompany physicians during patient visits and document encounters in real time.
  • Accurately transcribe patient history, physical examinations, assessments, and treatment plans.
  • Document laboratory and diagnostic imaging results.
  • Record physician orders for medications, referrals, laboratory tests, procedures, and follow-up care.
  • Document diagnoses, symptoms, prescriptions, and patient education as directed by the provider.
  • Prepare, review, and edit medical documentation for physician approval and signature.
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential electronic medical records.
  • Ensure documentation complies with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support efficient patient care and workflow.
  • Perform other administrative and documentation duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 6 months of Medical Scribe experience.
  • Typing speed of 90+ words per minute (WPM).
  • Strong computer proficiency with the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
