• Agency staff must have completed the COVID-19 vaccine series or present a documented religious/medical exemption from their employer

• Agencies must maintain active NM Caregivers Registry account to submit candidates

• Photo ID and facility badge required at all times

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility assistance
  • Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
  • Assist with meals, feeding, positioning, and range-of-motion activities
  • Document care accurately in the EMR per facility policy
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and dignified environment for all residents
  • Support infection control protocols and regulatory compliance

Requirements

  • Active state CNA/LNA certification in good standing
  • CPR/BLS certification current
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a LTC/SNF or similar care setting preferred
  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach to resident care
  • Ability to work reliably as part of a nursing team
  • Active New Mexico Caregivers Registry listing — required for placement at NM facilities
