What does 70K refer to in a job context?

'70K' is a shorthand way of referring to a salary of seventy thousand (70,000) units of currency, most commonly US dollars per year. It does not describe a specific job title or role but rather the compensation level for a position. Many different jobs across various industries may offer salaries around 70K, depending on experience, location, and industry demand. If a job listing mentions '70K,' it is indicating the annual pay, not the job function itself.
