General Surgeon (Locums)
A healthcare system is seeking a General Surgeon to provide locums coverage. The surgeon will handle inpatient consults, elective cases, and emergent surgical procedures.
About the Opportunity
  • Schedule: OR blocks and on-call coverage
  • Specialty: General Surgery
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general surgical procedures (appendectomy, hernia repair, cholecystectomy, etc.).
  • Provide inpatient surgical consults and follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, OR staff, and specialists.
  • Participate in trauma coverage if required.
