Work Location: Onsite position at 7300 South Kedzie Ave Chicago, IL 60629

 

Work Hours: Willingness to work assigned production shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift). 8 hours per day. The job will start on 3rd shift, and will need to rotate to 2nd shift and weekend shift

  • Second Shift: M-F 3pm to 11pm
  • Third Shift: M-F 11pm to 7am 
  • WE B Shift: S-S- M 7pm to 7am F: Alternates every week Fridays 6am-10am/11am-3pm

 

Job Description

  • Conduct regular inspections and assessments of production processes to ensure compliance with food safety standards, quality specifications, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of quality control inspections, sanitation activities, and compliance audits, and generate reports for management review and regulatory compliance.
  • Investigate quality issues and sanitation failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence and improve overall product safety and quality.

  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience. 
  • 3–5 years of experience in quality, food safety, or manufacturing roles.
  • Experience executing quality holds, investigations, and documentation.
  • Willingness to work assigned production shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift).
  • Familiarity with quality systems and regulatory requirements (e.g., QCMS, HACCP, FSSC) preferred.
