CDL A Drivers - Short Haul Runs - Home Daily!! Greeley, CO - Utility

JBS Carriers is a leading multi-state and regional truckload carrier specializing in refrigerated and non-refrigerated freight, including live haul (cattle, hogs and poultry), tankers, container chassis and grain hoppers.

Make Gains - Average $1,400-$1,600 a Week

Driver Pay Rates

  • $27+/Hour: Monday through Friday with some weekends
  • Average $1,400-$1,600/week based on experience

Benefits & Bonuses

$3,000 RETENTION BONUS!! ($500 at 30 days, $750 at 3 months, $750 at 6 months and $1,000 at 12 months)

  • Health Benefits: vision, medical, and dental coverage. Benefit eligibility begins after 60 days of employment
  • Paid: sick leave and six company observed holidays
  • 401(k) match of up to 50% on the first 4% of contributions. Company match begins at one year of service and follows a five year vesting schedule.
  • Rider Policy: available after 3 months, No pets

Work & Route

  • Days: Monday through Friday with some weekends
  • Loads and Locations: liquid feed and tallow/whey trailers to feed lots; hides containers from Greeley or Scotts Bluff, NE, to Denver rail yard; short hauls across town
  • Short haul moving 1- 14 trailers across town from plant to freezer
  • Recruiting Area: within 30 miles of Greeley
  • 40 to 50hrs/week. Seasonal 50 to 60hrs/week.

CDL-A Shuttle/Short-haul/Local Truck Driver Requirements

  • At least 21 years old
  • CDL-A with 1 year tractor trailer experience
  • Must have 48'-53' tractor trailer experience
  • Mentor and Training programs are available for drivers with less than 1 year of experience
