Job Title: Platform Reliability Engineer
Location: Ottawa, ON
Note: Prior experience in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom is non-negotiable.

Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Platform Reliability Engineer with a strong background in BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments. The ideal candidate will support platform stability, performance, automation, and reliability across enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design and support platform reliability solutions across BFSI, Public Sector, and Telecom environments.
  • Support modernization initiatives for banking systems, citizen services, OSS/BSS platforms, billing systems, charging platforms, and telecom customer platforms.
  • Build and maintain monitoring, observability, and platform health solutions.
  • Support Kubernetes, cloud-native platforms, and enterprise platform services.
  • Implement automation and reliability engineering practices.
  • Support telecom network services, 5G platforms, and digital infrastructure environments.
  • Conduct performance analysis, capacity planning, and resiliency testing.
  • Collaborate with platform, infrastructure, and development teams.
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards.
  • Support continuous improvement and platform optimization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience as a Platform Reliability Engineer within BFSI, Public Sector, or Telecom environments.
  • Experience supporting enterprise platforms, OSS/BSS, billing, charging, or customer-facing systems.
  • Strong experience with observability, monitoring, and platform operations.
  • Experience supporting cloud-native and containerized environments.
  • Experience with automation, scripting, and Infrastructure as Code.
