As an Applied R&D Engineer 4 - SW, you will play a crucial role in our TAO BLSR Space Communication Solutions department. Your primary focus will be on the Physical Layer (PHY) development for 5G NR gNB, ensuring compliance with 3GPP specifications. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the advancement of 5G network performance.
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience in 5G NR/LTE PHY Layer development, demonstrating a strong understanding of OFDM, MIMO, and other key PHY concepts.
  • Proficiency in C/C++, MATLAB, and Python for algorithm development and simulation, ensuring efficient and reliable code implementation.
  • Experience with DSPs, FPGAs, or GPUs for real-time PHY processing, optimizing signal processing and system performance.
  • Solid knowledge of 3GPP specifications, particularly 38.211, 38.212, 38.213, and 38.214, ensuring compliance and effective implementation.
  • Familiarity with software-defined radio (SDR) and real-time embedded systems, enabling efficient development and testing.
  • Experience in debugging and performance tuning of PHY layer implementations, ensuring robust and optimized system performance.
  • Knowledge of signal processing libraries like FFTW is preferred, enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of signal processing tasks.
