Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in La Jolla, California.

This is a 13-week travel contract beginning September 28, 2026, offering a variable day/night 3ร—12 schedule. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of Level III NICU experience, EPIC proficiency, and previous travel nursing experience.
Required Licensure & Certifications: 

  • Active California RN License (Pending CA license accepted with ETA from the Board)
  • BLS
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Scheduling & Flexibility: 

The assignment offers:

  • 3ร—12 Variable Day/Night shifts
  • 36 hours per week
  • No block scheduling
  • No on-call requirement
  • No floating outside NICU, though travelers may float to sister facilities with mileage reimbursement from their home location.

Weekend Expectation: Full scheduling flexibility is required. Travelers may be scheduled up to 3 of 4 weekends during a four-week period based on unit needs.
