Circulating RN - Cardiovascular Operating Room

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 4x10 Hour Days (06:00 - 16:30). Call required.

Job Description

The Circulating RN will provide high-quality care for patients undergoing cardiothoracic surgeries in the operating room. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and have the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room for surgeries.
  • Circulate in the operating room for cardiovascular surgeries.
  • Adhere to Universal Protocol and perform pre-surgical checks.
  • Monitor patient status throughout the surgical procedure.
  • Handle specimens and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • 1-3 years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery required.
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required.
  • CNOR certification preferred but not required.
  • Ability to scrub preferred, not required.
