Description:
This position is for a registered nurse specializing in PCU and oncology.
The nurse will work on a night shift consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week.
Candidates should be able to work four different locations during the contract.
The role includes floating to inpatient emergency department overflow when necessary.
The patient care ratios are 1:3 for PCU, 1:4 for telemetry, and 1:5 for medical-surgical units.
Documentation will be done using a specified electronic health record system.
A four-week schedule will be provided two weeks ahead of time, with no blocked or self-scheduling.
Nurses will receive a notification two hours before their shift regarding their assigned location.
COVID-19 vaccination and booster are required, with exemptions only for medical or religious reasons.
Flu vaccination is also required, with exemptions only for medical reasons.
Candidates must be amenable to floating within the assigned hospital or to affiliate hospitals based on patient census and unit requirements.
Background checks will be conducted prior to employment approval.
Candidates who have worked in this capacity within the past year are not eligible to return.
