Job description

Assisted Living Client | 4-Hour Paid Blocks

AffordCare Home Care is looking for a reliable, calm, and professional caregiver to provide transportation and companion support for a client living in an assisted living community in the Bothell, WA area.

Position Details

  • You will pick the client up at their assisted living community, drive them to the appointment, wait/support them during the visit, and return them home.
  • Total time for the full trip (drive + appointment + return) is typically about 2 hours.
  • The client pays for a 4-hour block each time, so you are paid for the full 4 hours.

This is a straightforward, well-paid transportation + companion shift with consistent opportunity for the right caregiver.

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport the client to and from appointments
  • Provide calm companionship and light assistance as needed during the outing
  • Remain professional and attentive throughout the full booked time
  • Communicate clearly with the family and AffordCare team
  • Complete simple shift notes after each visit

Requirements

  • Valid Washington driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Current car insurance (required)
  • Reliable personal vehicle in good working condition (mileage reimbursed)
  • Punctual, patient, and respectful
  • Comfortable working with older adults in assisted living settings
  • Current CNA or HCA + be able to pass background check
