Location: Remote

Position: Fulltime 
 Primary skills: SAP S/4 HANA, PP, MRP, QM, Functional Expertise, Integration Across SAP Modules, Testing, Documentation, and Support
 Job Description:

Solution Design and Configuration:

  • Lead the design and configuration of the SAP PP and QM modules in S/4 HANA to support production planning and quality management processes.
  • Configure production planning functionalities such as MRP, production orders, and capacity planning in alignment with business needs.
  • Implement quality management processes including inspection planning, quality notifications, and non-conformance management to ensure compliance with industry standards.
S/4 HANA Implementation:

  • Participate in full lifecycle SAP S/4 HANA implementation projects, focusing on integrating PP and QM functionalities.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct blueprinting sessions, and ensure alignment with production and quality objectives.
  • Support data migration activities, ensuring accurate transfer of master and transactional data related to production and quality processes.
Process Optimization:

  • Implement best practices for optimizing production planning and quality management processes to improve efficiency, reduce lead times, and ensure product quality.
  • Monitor production schedules, capacity utilization, and quality metrics to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions.
Testing and Validation:

  • Develop and execute test plans for PP and QM processes, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional requirements and business scenarios.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation activities to ensure system integrity and compliance with business and regulatory requirements.
User Training and Support:

  • Conduct training sessions for end-users and super-users on SAP PP and QM functionalities to ensure effective usage and understanding of processes.
  • Provide post-go-live support for production and quality processes, troubleshooting issues and offering guidance on system functionalities.
Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Work closely with other module experts (e.g., SD, MM, PM) to ensure integrated and streamlined processes across the SAP landscape.
  • Lead workshops, discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions with stakeholders to foster understanding of PP and QM functionalities and best practices.
Skills and Qualifications:

 Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP PP and QM configuration and implementation.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience in SAP S/4 HANA implementation projects, specifically focusing on PP and QM functionalities.
Technical Expertise:

  • Strong understanding of SAP PP functionalities, including MRP, production orders, capacity planning, and demand management.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP QM processes, including inspection planning, quality control, quality notifications, and audit management.
  • Experience with integrating PP and QM with other SAP modules such as SD, MM, and PM.
Certifications:

  • SAP certification in SAP PP, SAP QM, or S/4 HANA is highly desirable.
Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on time in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the pharma industry, including knowledge of regulatory requirements such as GxP and FDA compliance for production and quality processes.
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other quality management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of advanced planning tools and techniques within SAP S/4 HANA.
