This schedule typically allows for a longer weekend, providing better work-life balance while maintaining productivity and meeting business needs. Companies offering this option may expect employees to work slightly longer hours each day or maintain the same output in a compressed schedule. 4 day work weeks are becoming more popular in accounting as firms seek to attract and retain talent and improve employee well-being.

Familiarity with accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP, and proficiency in Excel are typically required.
